Trifles
Trifles was a cute play. This was about a dead canary. The townspeople were a bit odd. You have the male driven egos and the female who's wisdom were underminded simple because of their gender. The men are pompous and that makes the woman feel defensive and form a group against the detectives and hide evidence. They steal the box with the dead bird as an act of defiance against this male dominated society.

hey diana ,i like the story.i love that women are trying to defend each others. obvious the wife killed her husband but is not evidents,women are smart. :)
ReplyDeleteI liked how the women took action and tryed to save a fellow women because all the men did was try to convict the wife no matter what. They didnt care about anything else.

ReplyDeleteI thought it was a really good play as well. I enjoyed it as shows us how women come together in times of need. That s how it should be all the time. WE all need to stick together and support one another.
